Desiccant bags

About Desiccant bags

Desiccant bags are used to protect goods against humidity and condensation during transport and storage. They contain a desiccant that absorbs moisture within the package, with the aim of preventing problems such as rust, fermentation, moisture, electrical short circuits and other unwanted effects. Our extensive range of bags offers the opportunity to determine the most suitable solution for your application (electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, textiles, leather, etc.), regardless of the size of the package. Our desiccant bags do not release gases or other chemicals and thus guarantee the integrity of your goods in a professional and reliable manner.

Desiccant bags with active clay

Activated clay (bentonite) desiccant bags are the most cost-effective type. They are used in many industries and are environmentally friendly. To be used as a desiccant, our clay meets DIN 55473 standards.

Desiccant bags with Silica Gel

These are the most common desiccant bags. Silica Gel is a synthetic product used since the 1940s to protect goods from damage caused by humidity. Silica Gel desiccants consist of amorphous SiO2 (sodium silicate) and are in the form of white crystals. The advantage is a very fast absorption time.

Microbag desiccant sachets

Microbag desiccants are micro-sized bags used in small packages. They are mainly used in the pharmaceutical, medical, optical and food industries. Microbag desiccants have a dust-free Tyvek® envelope.
